Operations Assistant (12 month FTC)

Reporting to Logistics Operations Director | 40 hours per week | 12 month FTC 

We are looking for a French-speaking Operations Assistant to help our operations function with our growing customer base. Operations are at the heart of our business along with quality produce and market-beating prices. We pride ourselves on maintaining great customer relationships and doing what we say in delivering exceptional service. You will gain firsthand experience in a fast-moving supply chain operation, getting products from our suppliers, through our warehouse, to our customers, while working with other functions to identify ways to improve our processes. Our existing undergrads have truly enjoyed and valued the experience they gain here—so much so that some are hoping to return after university to work with us permanently!

What you’ll be doing

• Orders - Assisting with order management, processing, tracking and queries
• Inventory - Assisting with stock management, warehouse operations and queries
• Customer Success - Being the first point of contact for Operations in delivering customer orders day to day
• Logistics - Assisting with outbound deliveries, transport management, route planning and queries
• Data analysis - Assisting with data management, cost tracking, and KPI reporting

What we’re looking for

• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Fluent in English and French
• Able to work independently without direct supervision
• Ideally able to start immediately 
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets
• Have the legal right to work without restrictions or have company sponsorship in the UK
