IT Manager (m/f/d)

Of course, this won't happen overnight. It needs talented people like you. As IT Manager (m/f/d), you will be the only responsible person for developing and executing the company's IT strategy, managing relationships with external IT service providers, and coordinating with internal stakeholders on IT-related projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that IT operations align with business objectives and support the overall growth and efficiency of the company. Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to:

•  Develop and implement the company's IT and Cybersecurity strategy in alignment with business goals while ensuring that the company’s infrastructure remains competitive and secure
• Manage relationships with external IT service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met
• Lead and manage IT-related projects from inception to completion, including the development and monitoring of project plans and budget management
• Oversee the implementation of our ERP System, Contract Management System, and the further development of our existing ELN/LIMS System
• Facilitate training and support for employees on new IT systems and technologies. As well as providing data protection training for employees
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the external IT Support, including network management, software deployment, and cybersecurity
• Ensure the organization's compliance with data protection laws and oversee the implementation of data protection strategies with the help of external consultants

Your areas of knowledge and expertise are:

• Experience in IT Operations and Project Management: Proven track record in managing IT projects and overseeing IT operations, including cybersecurity
• Experience with system implementations (e.g. ERP systems, contract managing systems, ELN’s etc.)
• Strong understanding of Data Integration and experience in managing data integration between various IT systems and external partners
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure and Microsoft 365
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIl strongly preferred
• Fluency in written and spoken English, at least conversational skills in German
