The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing marketing plans, identifying target audiences, and defining the steps to engage our audience and move through the membership lifecycle. This is a crucial role that understands our audiences, grows their engagement, and manages awareness/conversion programs. The Senior Marketing Manager will create member journey maps, develop marketing automation, and launch member centric marketing programs. This role will occupy a unique position within the organization, working with the various departments to leverage our content and offers across search, social and other channels for maximum reach and engagement. Working with the Marketing Campaign Manager, you’ll create marketing campaigns to convert these leads into donors/members who support us financially or through volunteer opportunities.
These are exciting times for Trout Unlimited. Guided by our new strategic plan, we are actively working to become an organization that inspires a more diverse corps of supporters to join us in advocating and caring for our lands and waters. The Senior Marketing Manager will be instrumental in delivering the TU message to new audiences, acquiring, and retaining supporters and improving the TU member experience. In doing so, this position helps raise funds to support a larger, more engaged TU. The position is based in Arlington, Virginia, and will allow for 75-80% work from home.

About Trout Unlimited
Trout Unlimited (TU) is a conservation organization that is uniquely positioned to create common ground among diverse interests to conserve, protect and restore North America’s cold-water fisheries and their watershed. We overcome obstacles with grassroots credibility, professional skill, non-partisanship, and scientific expertise. We build meaningful relationships with decision makers, land and resource stewards, community members, and other stakeholders to deliver meaningful change across landscapes. TU is both a local, on-the-ground force and a national player with 300,000 members and supporters organized into over 400 chapters and councils nationwide.
Our mission is to bring together diverse interests to care for and recover rivers and streams so our children can experience the joy of wild and native trout and salmon.
