General Summary

This position is responsible for leading and managing assigned IT technology projects and/or programs of large to extra large scope/ complexity, to support the organization in the delivery of the company’s technology solutions portfolio.

Essential Job Accountabilities

  • Leverage project management best practices to develop and deliver project plans in support of multiple, simultaneous, large to extra-large scale technical projects or programs, in compliance with the IT delivery PDLC process to ensure consistent execution of IT projects.
  • Partner with IT, company business units and external partners to deliver value to the company organization through successful implementation of strategic technology-based solutions.
  • Plan and deliver assigned projects that adhere to defined IT delivery processes and industry standard best practices while realizing business case benefits and creating value for the company.
  • Manage all project activities and deliverables through all project phases to ensure a successful delivery that meets agreed parameters with regards to schedule, quality and cost for all assigned projects
  • Perform Scrum Master duties for assigned agile projects, including facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching the team on Agile methodology, and maintaining tools like ADO and Jira for backlog management.
  • Leverage industry standard project management tools to develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources and budgets in order to provide consistent, accurate, project updates, ongoing cost analysis, risk and issue management and mitigation.
  • Escalate functional, quality and schedule issues appropriately to ensure successful achievement of project goals and objectives.
  • Manage project procurement, request for proposal and statement of work creation, including both time and materials, services, and output-based projects to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Analyze, prepare, and present project updates for business stakeholders and leadership, escalating issues and roadblocks where necessary, to communicate project performance information to executives, sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Manage the change management associated with project implementations, governance, and communication to ensure the success of the projects.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent certification required

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in an IT Project/Program manager role
  • 5 years’ work experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience with both Scrum and Kanban Agile frameworks
  • Working knowledge of MS Project is strongly recommended
  • Hands on experience with use of Service Now and Azure Dev Ops (ADO) tools preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to successfully lead and manage multiple complex technical projects simultaneously
  • Extensive experience planning, managing and delivering complex technical projects, (such as Cybersecurity, ERP, CRM, BI, SCM, MDM, Infrastructure, SaaS and web/mobile), leveraging various System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Strong vendor relationship management experience with ability to manage project procurement including both time and materials contract services and output-based projects
  • Proven project leader with strong decision-making skills and ability to lead geographically diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply professional concepts, and company objectives to projects to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Project resource and capacity management expertise to allow for optimized allocation of shared resources across multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Extensive experience establishing, managing, and controlling project budgets
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and consultative skills to effectively disseminate information, influence peers and cross-functional partners and convey technical concepts and ideas to non-technical personnel
  • Ability to work in high production environment with proven ability to deliver results while leading through change
  • Must be a motivated team player who can also operate successfully independently

Benefits may vary for positions located outside of the continental United States.

Base Salary Range: 

$120,504.00 - $180,755.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
