As the Business Development Director, you will play a critical role in our strategic growth and customer engagement. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and executing high-level business development strategies, driving growth, and forging key partnerships with top-tier enterprises and stakeholders.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers, aligning our solutions with their sustainability and carbon management goals.
  • Leading initiatives to exceed revenue targets, leveraging your expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and navigating high-value deals.
  • Ensuring customers achieve their sustainability targets and maximize value from our offerings, enhancing their net-zero objectives and overall business performance.
  • Overseeing the development and management of a robust customer pipeline, utilizing advanced CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting and strategic alignment.
  • Partnering with our Impact Team to design and implement high-quality carbon portfolios, and collaborating with Marketing and Sales Development to drive sophisticated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Acting as a thought leader at industry conferences and events, showcasing CEEZER’s innovative solutions and strategic vision.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To thrive in this role, you must bring a blend of strategic leadership, industry expertise, and a passion for driving meaningful change. Your profile should include:
  • Deep understanding of corporate sustainability, climate action, and the voluntary carbon market with a track record of engaging with senior executives of enterprises and creating significant value.
  • Extensive background in enterprise sales and business development, with a focus on large, complex accounts (customers with revenues exceeding $1B) and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets and driving substantial revenue growth, with the ability to lead and innovate in a fast-paced, evolving market.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and strategic shifts in a dynamic business landscape.
  • Forward-thinking approach with a proven ability to strategize and execute at the highest level, combined with a hands-on, results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving ambitious goals, while representing CEEZER as a leader in the climate action space.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $170k OTE ($130k-140k base) annually for New York City.
