Job Description

The Product Safety Engineer Intern will provide support to the Product Safety department by working on a variety of projects and activities to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of this discipline. This role will work side by side with Product Safety professionals to provide research and solutions during the full life cycle of our products. Interactions will build relationships with various departments, including Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Service, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide research for standards and regulations for various existing and new products.

  • Assist with evaluating new and existing products and features for applicable content in manuals and warning decals.

  • Actively participate with advanced technology teams in evaluating new autonomy solutions for relevant regulations, standards, and applications within our equipment.

  • Assist with research for customer support safe use and modification inquiries.

  • Prepare information such as Field Service Bulletins, Service Information, etc.

  • Attend and participate in cross-functional collaboration meetings with Training, Service, Technical Publications and Marketing meetings.

  • Support and evaluate team processes to maintain alignment with various improvement activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related field.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of construction or agricultural industries and equipment used.

  • Education or experience focused on electro-mechanical or mechatronics.

  • Previous internship experience or work-related experience with Product Safety, Compliance, Reliability, or Improvement Engineering.

  • Outstanding organization and communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn and become an expert in problem solving and continuous improvement processes and tools.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
