The role
We’re looking for a Strategic Finance Lead to manage and build our financial operations for scale, lead our dynamic pricing strategy, and conduct strategic financial analyses informing the future of the business.
Presto has GWhs of electricity for EV charging under management today and will be selling terawatt hours of electricity in the future. As we scale, you will work with our partners to ensure we have accurate billing and invoicing operations that grow with the business. You will also oversee the pricing strategy to power Presto’s dynamic marketplace connecting EV charging demand with diverse sources of charging supply. In addition, you will lead strategic financial analysis and build out financial operations to help Presto scale.
You will report to and work closely with J.J., Presto’s CFO, in crafting and executing on Presto’s financial strategy and operations.

You will be responsible for:
Driving and scaling our financial operations
Accurately invoice fleets and pay charging partners
Building payables and receivables process that scale with Presto
Lead on monthly financial accounting and close processes
Ensure state-level permitting and financial compliance
Develop and support financial operations processes as needed to support the business scaling
Leading and evolving Presto’s pricing strategy and operations
Develop pricing models and forecasts for Presto’s dynamic marketplace of EV charging demand and supply
Design new pricing strategies to incentivize driver usage and optimize utilization for Presto’s charging partners
Invest and implement financial incentives across marketplace pricing strategies with a strong eye for return on investment and impact on growing Presto’s margins
Performing strategic financial analyses to inform the future of the business
Partner with the team to conduct in-depth financial analysis and translate financial data into actionable insights for the team
Build financial forecasts aligned with Presto’s financial goals
Qualifications/ skills:
4+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, equity research, private equity, hedge fund, investment banking, or corporate finance
Strong analytics and comfort in working with large data sets for financial modeling
Creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Excellent planning and organization skills
Strong bias for action
Prior experience working with electric vehicles, EV charging, or energy sales and trading is a bonus
Location: Remote or hybrid in Denver, CO or the San Francisco Bay Area
