 Job Summary:


The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition provides oversight and management of the full cycle of the recruiting process for the organization in partnership and alignment with PPM’s talent strategy.  This role is an individual contributor and will be direct hands on in the building of the sourcing strategy, sourcing budget, talent attraction, and overall candidate experience.


The Senior Manager will be a world-class recruiting leader with experience in private-equity growth companies.  They will need demonstrated success in building the strategy and outcomes to attract and hire top talent.

The ideal candidate will have a highly consultative mindset, ability to manage client demand and strategic intent, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership in the planning, design, management, and execution of all talent acquisition activities.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process in partnership with HR team, driving consistent use of common tools, systems, and processes that cultivates hiring efficiency with greater retention.
  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment and develop creative and innovative strategies for sourcing and acquiring top talent.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
  • Lead all sourcing strategies
  • Manage our external partnerships with universities, job boards recruiting agencies, etc.
  • Implement online and offline employer branding activities
  • Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget
  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication)
  • Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company
  • Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
  • Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire
  • Manage the new hire onboarding process to ensure fast new hire assimilation. 

Requirements

 Required Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Human Resources Management or relevant field 

• Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Director or similar role

• Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives

• Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)

• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases

• Good team-management abilities

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)

• Takes initiative with high attention to detail

• Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Job Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Recruiting experience

• Energy and/or construction industry experience 

• Private equity-backed company experience is a plus
