What will you do as an Project Manager Innovation & Launch

As Project Manager Innovation & Launch, you’ll be juggling multiple projects like a pro, making sure timing, quality, and costs all play nicely together (spoiler: they usually don’t). You’ll keep innovation flowing, stakeholders happy (or at least well-informed), and the communication with our operations department running smoother than your best-kept spreadsheet. Your job is focused on but not limited to:
- Manage multiple innovation and improvement projects in close cooperation with multidisciplinary teams (Software, MEGA, T&I, Operations)
- Forging a closed-knit bond between all teams so you get to use your people skills
- Create detailed project plans that outline objectives, resources, project phases and deliverables
- Of course you will nurture and maintain these project plans
- Be the linking pin of communication between several decision making units (COO, CTO, Production Manager and our Team Captains) - Keep them all in the loop with clear, concise and timely updates
- Design new projects from scratch and refine our tool suite to make it more effective, focusing on process optimizations within a growing organization (become better day by day)
- Making sure R&D seamlessly transitions into production, this means walking (sometimes running) around, asking questions, staying visible, and keeping everything on track – because you know nothing runs itself
- Anticipate potential obstacles and mitigate them proactively so we can keep on cruising toward success
What do we expect you to bring to Big Ass Battery?
It won't surprise you but we're looking for people with positive energy! You should be pumped about joining a fast-growing company bursting with ambition. You are curious, always eager to learn, and have a knack for innovation. We're looking for someone who can show off strong project management chops, communicate like a champ, strong people skills and who takes ownership. Most importantly you own your sh*t and you’re in control at all times. Do you check these boxes?
- At least a bachelor’s degree and experience in being a project manager and bringing hardware products to market (OEM experience anyone)
- A proven track record of turning innovation projects into successful, market-ready products
- You have a strong technical affinity – because you need to understand what’s being built
- Mastery of JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies – plus a little Waterfall where needed
- Fluent in Dutch & English – because miscommunication is not an option
- Someone who is always up to date, gathers information proactively and even hunts for it when needed

- A salary that reflects the experience we are looking for, which has to fit in the range €4.750 <-> €5.250 gross per month
- And of course you receive 8% holiday allowance in May and a 13th month in December

- We follow the collective labor agreement Technical Installation Company/ Technisch Installatiebedrijf which includes the PMT pension scheme
- 25 vacation days and 13 additional days off (based on a 40-hour workweek) enough time to recharge your personal battery
- Reimbursement of travel expenses at €0,23 per kilometer
