Job Overview:
 

We are seeking a driven and client-focused Account Manager to support our engagement with buy-side clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build relationships with key investment firms, support revenue growth, and deliver valuable research and analytics that drive client success. The Account Manager will work closely with internal teams to ensure clients maximize the value of our insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key buy-side clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.

  • Serve as a trusted resource, understanding client objectives and aligning our solutions to their needs.

  • Proactively engage with clients to ensure high adoption and usage of our products.

Revenue Growth & Retention:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our solutions to existing clients.

  • Support the renewal process by demonstrating the value of our offerings.

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities and contribute to overall revenue targets.

  • Drive new business deals within the financials sector

Market & Product Expertise:

  • Develop a strong understanding of financial markets, particularly buy-side investment strategies and energy sector dynamics.

  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments that impact our clients.

  • Effectively communicate the benefits of our research and analytics to clients.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams including research, analytics, product specialists, and marketing to ensure clients receive high-quality service.

  • Collaborate with customer success teams to enhance client engagement and support retention efforts.

  • Provide client feedback to internal stakeholders to help shape product development and strategy.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • 2-4+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or client-facing roles within financial services, investment management, or related industries.

  • Understanding of buy-side workflows, investment strategies, and financial market dynamics.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to develop expertise in the energy and financial sectors.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $100,000- $110,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term incentive compensation or commission. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
