What does your day look like?  
You start the day with a cup of coffee and the MEGA-team (no, not Make Energy Great Again 🤪 ) stand-up. Here you align with your colleagues on the prioritization of tasks and challenges within the team. After this start of the day, you focus on working on the electrical design topics of either new container designs or revisions of the ones already in the field. This work includes electrical systems engineering in alignment with other teams, analyzing and drafting up designs and e-schematics via EPLAN, contribute in the maintenance of the technical library of EPLAN. In the afternoon you go to your colleagues in the workshop to see if they are happy with the changes you made derived from their feedback. After an interesting chat with the electricians where you even jumped in to help you have a meeting with the CTO and engineering colleagues to discuss new concepts. An hour later, a member of our sales teams shows up at your desk to ask for help with the clarification of a technical customer request. To finish the day, you have an hour to yourself to work on several improvements in EPLAN.

What are you going to do as EPLAN Engineer?
You design, develop, and optimize electrical systems for storing energy. This includes ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability while integrating batteries with power grids or renewable energy sources, and troubleshooting performance issues. All this happens at a fast pace and the fun thing is that you can see your first (digital) line on paper come to reality at a high pace! This combined with modern 3D technology, cable harness determination and management, implementing NEN requirements and many side items from colleagues and other departments creates flexible and diverse workdays. Your job will consist of:

• Creating electrical designs and schematics for our battery storage systems (2D and 3D)
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. operations & sales) and external suppliers with regard to electrical developments and/or new features
• Contact with suppliers for component selection and assessment (f.e power electronics, fast charging and battery components)
• Database management for electrical components, macros and symbol library in EPLAN
• Monitor quality checks for external build components and provide technical feedback to supplier
• Co-engineering our new concepts container and building functional prototypes

• You have at least a technical education on a vocational level in electrical engineering or mechatronics (Bachelor preferred)
• A proven track record of at least 5+ years in creating electrical schematics in 2D and 3D using EPLAN is a must
• Strong knowledge of electrical components used in machinery production (wiring, connectors, fast charging kits, battery components and power electronics)
• Experience in HV is considered as a plus
• You are precise and accurate in what you do, quality and above all safety is important for you
• You are excellent in English in word and writing. Knowledge of the Dutch language is preferred
