The Bursary Committee Chair (BCC) leads/oversees the bursary committee and reports to the Director of Equity and Advocacy. This committee manages bursary requests submitted by members of the Engineering community. The BCC is responsible for preparing bursary application batches for the committee to review, and calling and chairing meetings for the committee. Though the BCC does not make decisions on the status of bursaries, it is important that they consistently make ethical decisions, are highly trustworthy, and can recognize biases. Applicants should have strong logistical, time management, leadership, and organizational skills.
