The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations with technical expertise to lead and optimise our global operations. As a critical member of our leadership, you will direct operations teams across multiple data centres and regions, ensuring the highest standards of service reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You and your team will play a key role in establishing and refining operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.  Your role will be essential in managing large-scale incident response and problem resolution, building and leading technical support teams across multiple tiers, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance products based on operational insights, while also creating our standard operating procedures and business continuity. 

What You'll Tackle

  • Direct global operations teams across multiple data centres and regions.
  • Establish and optimize support infrastructure, SLAs, and escalation protocols.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage large-scale incident response and problem resolution processes.
  • Build and lead technical support teams across multiple tiers.
  • Collaborate with engineering on product improvements based on operational insights.
  • Establish standardized operating procedures and playbooks.
  • Lead crisis management during major service disruptions.

Skills We Value

  • 10+ years of experience in technical operations management, preferably in cloud services.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, distributed technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and networking.
  • Track record implementing automation and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with incident management and problem resolution at scale.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for cloud services.
  • MBA or technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with data analytics and performance measurement systems.
