We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Technician Intern to support our IT team. In this role, you will assist with provisioning, deploying, and troubleshooting new hardware as part of our ERP go-live process. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in hardware management and technical support within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This is an on-site position located at either our Dyersburg, TN or Athens, GA location.

Responsibilities
- Hardware Provisioning: Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware, including computers, servers, and peripheral devices.
- Deployment: Support the deployment of hardware across various departments, ensuring all equipment is properly installed and operational.
- Troubleshooting: Provide first-level troubleshooting support for hardware issues, including diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- ERP Support: Collaborate with the IT team to ensure hardware compatibility and functionality during the ERP go-live process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- User Training: Assist in training end-users on new hardware and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hardware setup and configuration.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their hardware requirements.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and tools.
