Communications Assistant

Develop and Implement Communication activities: Design and execute comprehensive communication plans to promote the TRVC Project's objectives, ensuring alignment with project goals and target audiences. 

Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, including press releases, articles, newsletters, social media posts, and reports, to effectively convey project achievements and messages. Ensure all the TRVC project communication activities comply with donor and SNV communication and branding guidelines  

Media Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with local and national media outlets, facilitating coverage of project activities and successes. 

Event Coordination: Organize workshops, seminars, and public events to engage stakeholders and disseminate Project outcomes. 

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project partners, government agencies, NGOs, and community groups to ensure consistent and accurate messaging. 

Media monitoring: support the Communications Officer in monitoring of media platforms, and highlighting reference to the project or its activities in public news and media fora  

Photography: Capture high-quality photos during field trips, workshops, and other Project activities to be used in communication products and reports 

Knowledge management and reporting: Maintain and update a comprehensive digital library of communication materials and images.
