About TP ICAP

We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates. 

For each asset class, TP ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades 

 

Role Overview 

The Digital Assets business is seeking a Digital Assets Sales / Business Development Director to join their desk.  

In their day-to-day role, the successful applicant will be the face of the Digital Assets business in the Americas and responsible for driving client engagement and acquisition for Fusion Digital Assets.    

 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Promote TP ICAPs Digital Assets business activities in the Americas  

  • Establish a deep and relevant network both internally and externally  

  •  Drive client engagement and acquisition for Fusion Digital Assets  

  •  Establish and develop partnerships and strategic relationships  

  • Help develop the desk’s business strategy by identifying new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients and implement as agreed  

  • Manage the existing business effectively to protect and enhance market share, including monitoring business performance 

  • As required, understand the P&L, participate in budget planning, take ownership of the budget and drive the assumptions forward  

  • Understand pertinent regulation and assess and implement compliance with the evolving regulatory landscape and internal/external governance in partnership with Infrastructure teams  

  • Support a risk and compliance aware culture and be proactive and encourage behaviours which comply with group policies 

  • Support Senior Management in building culture, setting the appropriate tone and instilling values 

  • Take responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of policies, processes, systems and controls relating to the area of the business under your responsibility, as required by the Risk function and the policy owner 

  • Exercise independent judgement, integrity, care, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate  

 

Experience / Competences:  

Essential 

  • Min. 3 years' experience with a proven track record of establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients  

  • Direct experience with electronic platforms and trading firms / systems   

  • Familiarity with the technology underpinning financial platforms (e.g., FIX, APIs, data analytics tools etc 

  • Familiarity with institutional products and market infrastructure  

  • A natural collaborator 

  • An exceptional communicator 

  • Possess a growth mindset  

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, can keep emotions under control in difficult situations 

  • Constructively handles disagreements to reach a resolution
