This role involves end-to-end ownership of one or more material systems, such as cathode (high-Ni NMC), anode (graphite + SiC), separator, binder, or collector foil.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the formulation, development, and implementation of advanced battery materials and related processes.</li><li>Collaborate with global material suppliers to evaluate and integrate the latest innovations into production.</li><li>Design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) to optimize performance and validate new formulations.</li><li>Incorporate new materials into existing chemical systems to enhance cell performance, stability, and longevity.</li><li>Drive the development of new materials and process platforms in alignment with the company’s technical roadmap.</li><li>Conduct and lead failure analysis (FA) and technical troubleshooting related to materials and manufacturing processes.</li><li>Provide technical documentation and cross-functional support to R&amp;D and manufacturing teams.</li></ul><hr><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Education: Master’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 3 years in material or product development, with solid experience in lithium-ion battery materials.</li><li>Proven ability to independently lead material or product development projects.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and failure analysis experience.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.</li><li>Experience in customer-facing technical discussions; background in EV battery development is highly preferred.</li></ul>
