You will own the close calendar, the<br>reconciliation process, and the accounting procedures the rest of the team executes against —and manage the staff who perform that work.<br><br>The ideal candidate is a strong technical accountant who also enjoys managing people and<br>process, and who wants to tighten and document a close that is still being built.<br></span></div><div> </div></div><br><br><h3></h3><ul><li>Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close — set the calendar, assign ownership, and<br>deliver on schedule.</li><li>Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,<br>payroll accounting, and expense processing.</li><li>Own the balance sheet reconciliation process; review reconciliations prepared by staff and<br>resolve exceptions.</li><li>Review journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Document and continuously improve accounting procedures, checklists, and controls.</li><li>Manage, coach, and develop staff and senior accountants; set priorities and balance<br>workload across the close cycle.</li><li>Prepare audit schedules and support the annual audit and tax filings.</li><li>Partner with operations and procurement to ensure transactions are recorded accurately<br>and on time.</li><li>Support ERP and accounting systems improvements, including automation of manual<br>processes.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.</li><li>7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of a monthly close.</li><li>2+ years of experience managing or supervising accounting staff.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close best practices.</li><li>Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or a comparable system.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-growth environments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to document and improve accounting processes, not just execute<br>them.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills.</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><div>This pay range reflects best estimate for the total cash compensation which includes salary +<br>discretionary bonus for this role.
