In this role, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, statutory compliance, and robust financial controls across a diverse portfolio of entities. Working in close collaboration with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, you will help drive operational excellence while supporting the company's continued growth.<h2>Job Description:</h2>Key responsibilities Financial Reporting &amp; Accounting•             Perform month end, quarter end, half year, and year end reporting closures as per the agreed timeline.•             Perform balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews.•             Maintain fixed asset registers.•             Complete intercompany reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.•             Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines.•             Maintain accounting procedures and support process improvements.•             Respond to finance queries from internal and external stakeholders Compliance &amp; Statutory Reporting•             Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial controls.•             Reconcile and prepare and submit VAT filings including VAT estimates for monthly/quarterly cashflows•             Prepare statutory financial statements.•             Consult with external auditors and support audit processes.•             Ensure compliance with local accounting and reporting requirements.
